Sylvan and I went to Pittsburgh to help Gram pack up her house and celebrate her retirement. We spent a lot of time working hard, but we also found some time to visit our favorite Pittsburgh places. Those included the Blue Slide Park, where Sylvan courageously flew down the steep blue slide on her own piece of cardboard, which made her go VERY FAST. She also delighted in picking raspberries at Grandpa’s house. We visited the brand new carousel near Univ of Pgh. They were giving free rides, so Sylvan rode for about an hour straight. She sat on almost every single animal. Our favorite was the purple dragon, of course. You can also see her on the dolphin and the white horse. She liked the giraffe, but he didn’t go up and down so she abandoned him for more mobile critters.
